dbuf2 = ei2(V,dbuf,zb,zw);, where v is a $ p\times 1$ vector, dbuf is a data buffer output from ei() or an earlier run of this procedure, zb is a scalar 1 for no covariates or a $ p\times k^b$ matrix of covariates, and zw is the scalar 1 for no covariates or a $ p\times k^w$ matrix of covariates. (Do not include a constant term.) dbuf2 is the output data buffer.
