CHGNUM!, DELNUM!, PTYNUM!, UNCNUM!

These commands work like CHG!, DEL!, PTY!, and UNC!, respectively, applied to a NUM! command. Thus, if dem88 is the number of votes for the Democratic candidate, and rep88 is the number for the Republican, PTYNUM!dem88&rep88 is a partisan control variable ($ -1$ if the vote proportion NUM!dem88&rep88 is below 0.5 and 1 if it is above 0.5). You can use the alias command to reduce the length of this variable name if you wish.
